| JSAA founded by JSIS students in 2003
Recent Activities
Fall Event:
- In October 2006, JSAA hosted a panel discussion centered on the dynamics
of living and working in areas of political turmoil. The event featured
both JSIS alumni (Carmen Butler and Linda Bevis), as well as non-alumni
speakers (Weldon Nisly).

positive feedback.
Winter Event:
- In January 2007, JSAA worked with JSIS Career Services Director Betsy
Bridwell to organize a networking night for local JSIS alumni and current
JSIS students. The event was also organized to dovetail with a JSIS panel

- The networking night was attended by 44 people, including a nice mix of
both JSIS alumni and current students.
Washington Weekend:
- JSAA will be holding a panel discussion on the international aspects of
climate change on April 28, 2007. Similar to the Career Week Networking

panelists shortly.
